Philip Stewart  /  Music and Sound Designer

Philip has created music and sound design for a broad range of media including theatre, sound installations, dance, shorts, and documentary filmmaking.  He studied composition under Donnacha Dennehy and Roger Doyle.

Theatre credits include The Approach, Howie the Rookie, Breaking Dad and The Talk of the Town (Landmark Productions); The Lord of the Flies (Theatre Clwyd); Crestfall, Helen and I (Druid); The Plough and the Stars, The Wake, Conservatory, Hedda Gabler, Quietly, The House, Major Barbara and Pygmalion (Abbey Theatre); The Vortex, An Enemy of the People and The Speckled People (Gate Theatre).

He has been nominated for an Irish Times Irish Theatre Award for his work on The Early Bird by Leo Butler (Natural Shocks) and An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen (Gate Theatre).
